Pendampingan Bakti Sosial Mahasiswa Stakat Negeri Pontianak sebagai Perwujudan Profil Pelajar Pancasila

Abstract


This community service aims to implement social service activities as a means of realizing the six dimensions of the ‘Profil Pelajar Pancasila’ among students at the State Catholic Religious College (STAKatN) Pontianak. This dimensions consisting of faith and piety, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical thinking, and creativity, is an essential character-building framework for students as future educators and agents of social change. This service activity uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method combined with a Community-Based Service Learning (CBSL) approach, involving 65 students divided into 10 activity groups. The implementation of the activities consists of public services, which include blood donation at the Indonesian Red Cross, faith formation and creativity development for orphanage children, interfaith assistance, environmental cleaning, and assistance to the elderly. The results of the activity indicate a transformative impact on students' character development through the strengthening of moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral acting. Each dimension of the ‘Profil Pelajar Pancasila’ was successfully internalized through students' direct experiences in interacting with the social reality of society. This activity provides benefits for student character development and also makes real contributions to the beneficiary community and strengthens the institution's reputation as a university concerned with nation character building.
