Stop Bullying: Membangun Karakter melalui Literasi Keuangan dan Penguatan Sumber Daya Manusia pada anak SMPN 5 Balikpapan

Abstract


Bullying is a social issue that can impact character development, self-confidence, and the quality of human resources, particularly among adolescents. This community service activity aims to enhance participants’ understanding of bullying prevention and to foster positive character through financial literacy and human resource development. The activity was conducted through outreach sessions, interactive education, discussions, and simple practical exercises on financial management. The material presented covered an introduction to the forms and impacts of bullying, bullying prevention efforts, fostering an attitude of mutual respect, basic financial management, and the importance of responsibility and self-development. The hope for integrating financial literacy into this activity is to foster disciplined, responsible, and independent behavior, as well as the ability to make wise decisions. The results of the program showed an increase in participants’ understanding of the effects of bullying, the importance of building positive social relationships, and their capabilities.
