Abstract

Anaemia among adolescent girls may reduce concentration and physical capacity, making prevention important for young martial artists. The SI-CEGAH ANEMIA programme aimed to empower female adolescent martial artists through screening, cadre training, digital education, mentoring, and health evaluation. Implemented from May to August 2026 with PSHT Semarang Regency Branch, activities included initial screening, cadre training, 14 days of WhatsApp education and the SI-CEGAH Challenge, and final haemoglobin assessment. Complete paired data were evaluated. Of 32 cadre trainees, 26 (81.25%) were competent; mean scores increased from 70.31 to 88.41. Among 56 participants, mean knowledge increased from 64.64% to 77.59%, while nutrition behaviour among 79 participants increased from 41.27% to 63.71%. Among 80 participants, anaemia-related complaints decreased from 71.25% to 42.50%, mean haemoglobin increased from 12.17 to 12.80 g/dL, and anaemia prevalence decreased from 48.75% to 27.50%. The programme produced trained cadres and reusable digital education materials.
