Abstract

A decline in quality of life can occur in premenopausal women and can interfere with daily activities. Acupuncture is a non-pharmacological approach involving stimulation at certain points on the body that helps reduce menopause symptoms and support quality of life. This community service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing public knowledge about symptoms that appear during perimenopause through face-to-face presentations with PowerPoint slides as well as providing acupuncture therapy services to help improve the quality of life of premenopausal women. The methods used included socialization, education, and acupuncture therapy services. The steps involved inviting premenopausal women who were willing to receive acupuncture therapy. The activity was attended by 18 participants. The results showed an increase in knowledge from poor to very good, with a score of 90 achieved by twelve participants, a score of 100 by six participants, and in terms of participant satisfaction, 15 participants felt satisfied with the acupuncture therapy. This indicates that effective education combined with acupuncture therapy can help improve participants' knowledge and access to healthcare services.
